Multicore systems such as smartphones are difficult to program and includes a huge amount of manual work. Thanks to the solution from Silexica, parallel programming will become easier in the future, where complexity is hidden from the programmer and manual and error-prone tasks are handled automatically. With this innovative product, Silexica was able to win the founder's initiative WECONOMY 2014. The first part of the prize was now redeemed by the founders: a weekend full of feedback, discussions and thoughts for collaboration with high-profile CEOs from the German industry such as Daimler CEO Dr. Dieter Zetsche and Franz Fehrenbach, chairman of the advisory board of Robert Bosch GmbH, who presented the award to Silexica during the event.
Silexica Software Solutions GmbH was founded today in Aachen, Germany, as a spin-off from the Institute for Communication Technologies and Embedded Systems (ICE) at RWTH Aachen University. For more than two decades, ICE has been the origin of a series of successful high-tech startup companies, as such, Silexica stands in this line of innovative design tools „Made in Aachen“.
